A Brighter Side of Therapy

Wellness for Anxious Over-Thinkers in California

Therapy doesn’t need to feel dark and scary.

Yes, the experiences and emotions we process may be challenging, but a lens of curiosity will help us illuminate the right steps forward.

Sound familiar?

You find yourself constantly overthinking and spiraling. Logically know everything is ok, but you can’t seem to stop worrying and obsessing.

You’ve listened to mental health podcasts, read books, and watched countless tik toks trying to solve the problem but nothing works long term. You’re ready to try something new.

You worry you’re “too self aware” for therapy because you already understand “why” you feel the way you do. The problem is, something still feels off.

You feel things more deeply than people around you, and you’ve been called “the sensitive one”. Sometimes it makes you feel like you’re not handling things the way you “should” be.

Hi, I’m Tori.

I believe that your feelings deserve to be taken seriously.

I can assure you that no matter what you bring into therapy, there is nothing broken about you. In our work together we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety and how it developed over time to try to warn you of danger. We’ll learn to listen to these feelings in a new way so that you can respond with confidence. You’ll build an understanding that your mind and body are trying to work for you, not against you.

Emotions and sensations are your body’s way of communicating with you. They tell you about your needs, your boundaries, and how you're responding to what's happening in your life. Instead of labeling them as 'good' or 'bad,' we’ll work on seeing them as messages, each one offering valuable information about what’s going on inside you.
